A Walk Around Sardis Pond in Sardis Park

The pond in Sardis Park is actually quite small, but it certainly attracts the birds and critters to it. Usually I take about 3 walks around the pond.

This log seems to have extra space for more Turtles this time.
The White Crow stopped for a drink
Amazingly enough his mate arrived and the 2 of them made a X for a different photo.

Mom Mallard Duck with plenty of ducklings and a zoomed in photo to get a closer look.

Lots of Canada Goose Goslings taking a break.
Another co-operative butterfly that landed and posed for me.
Looks like this Turtle wanted to be alone.
This duckling was one of the only larger ducklings on the pond. He/she was all alone.
A male Mallard Duck taking a break. Not sure why he needed a break, since the males don’t have anything to do with the ducklings.
We started with a turtle, so we will end with a turtle. This one is having a swim.
