I’m sure by now that everyone knows how much I love critters (of any kind). So, I am thrilled when someone asks me to look after their critters.
Daisy’s family was going to be away from early Friday morning until mid afternoon on Monday and since she couldn’t stay alone, I was asked to come and stay with her.
We had 3 or 4 walks each day and wandered a different path almost every time we went out. Sometimes, I followed Daisy and sometimes she followed me.
I also managed some photos of a family of Crows that hung around the yard.

A family of Crows actually provided quite a bit of entertainment this weekend. I believe it is 2 adult birds and 1 youngster – and between them, they made quite a bit of noise.

The sunrise on Saturday morning was gorgeous!

Beautiful view right from the house – with the sun hitting some of the leaves .
I actually took many more photos of Daisy, but used my phone and for some reason I can not upload them to my pc to add to this blog. I’ll see if I can figure out the problem and show them in a later post.

Belated greetings to you and the adorable Daisy! Still here in North Carolina getting my son acclimated to his new job, getting his car fixed back up, wishing I were in Ottawa (for the shawarma and museums, but without the smoke!). A couple of weeks along the Camino Frances, well back of Marymac. Hope you and Daisy and your vacationing car are well! Cheers, Stumblebum

Greetings back to you too Tim. My car has returned again and we are back to driving around to take photos. I’ve just got to get back into it again. So far – no smoke in my area in B.C. – which I am certainly happy about, but the next few days are going to be extremely HOT and not very pleasant in a non air-conditioned apartment.
