Kildonan Park – Last Stop of the Day

I headed back to Winnipeg after stopping at Captain Kennedy House and since I was on Main Street, it was convenient to stop at Kildonan Park for my last stop of the day. I always love to walk through & take photos of the gardens near the beginning of the park.

Then I moved over to the Witch’s Hut, took some photos there, then walked through the garden just on the other side of the little creek and then over to the duck pond before going back to the Witch’s Hut where my car was parked.

  • Witches Hut – still not open
  • Lots of ducks – you would almost think they were fed there. Of course, you’d be right.
  • A duckling with Mom
  • Another Duckling
  • A beautiful big tree
  • Mallard Duck and it looks like 3 ducklings with her
  • Outside the building at the pond
  • A Chipping Sparrow was the first little bird today that didn’t hide when I tried to take a photo
  • He even stayed for another photo (actually about 5, but I thought 2 would be enough to post.
  • Canada Geese and Mallard Ducks
  • Flowers at the entrance/exit for the duck pond
  • The walk back to my car and through the garden again
