This morning I decided to head over to the English Garden in Assiniboine Park to see if I could find any Hummingbirds or Indigo Buntings. I did see one hummingbird, but it didn’t stay long enough for a photo – and I didn’t see an Indigo Bunting, but think I heard one. So – I took photos of the flowers and the birds willing to cooperate. They were watering the garden while I was there, so I kept ducking around the sprinklers.
The photos are cropped and sized smaller to fit on the page by Word Press, but you can click on one to scroll through larger sizes.
Entrance to Garden Chipping Sparrow (young or female) Chickadee landed beside me, so I held out my hand 2 for 1 American Redstart (young or female) Young Red Squirrel Young Bunny Close-up of the Boy with leaking boot
While I was in the area, I decided to walk around the duck pond where I found Wood Ducks, Mallard Ducks, Canada Geese, and overhead – Canada Geese and Pelicans.
Now I am refreshed enough to pack another box or 2 (after I eat lunch).
What beautiful photos Mavis. I just love seeing where you go with your lovely photos. Birds/animals and flowers; all things I love.
